Incredible String Band! :)
Estranhei o Nick Mason, mas fui ver ao All Music e já percebi. O melhor do Tim Buckley, para mim, é o "Starsailor".

"Fictitious Sports" é um colosso de originalidade
e humor. A combinação Carla Bley + Robert Wyatt revela-se explosiva e de um
surrealismo que, francamente, não encontro em mais nenhum álbum de rock.
O Nick Mason limita-se a produzir e a tocar bateria.
Quanto ao "Starsailor" ser o melhor de T. Buckey, também é a minha opinião, embora apenas tenha ouvido uma cópia pirata do mesmo e apenas uma vez.
A questão está em que, praticamente, como sabes, esse disco desapareceu de circulação. NÃO ME DIGAS QUE O TENS? :O
A lista que apresento inclui apenas discos que fazem parte da minha coleção, daí que...
Também tenho o "Goodbye and Hello", que também é muito bom.
Quanto aos Incredible String Band- sou fanático. É uma das bandas mais estranhas do Psicadelismo (versão folk).
Tudo o que gravaram até "Liquid Acrobat as Regards the Air" é excelente. Já se falou deles por aqui, há tempos...

Eu lamento ter que dizer isto, mas é verdade: Tiveste (tiveram) um azar dos diabos. Eu bem vos avisei que nascessem antes, mas não me quiseram dar ouvidos!!!! AGORA NÃO SE LAMENTEM!!!!!!

Num registo sério: Não ouço hoje música com menos entusiasmo do que ouvia em qualquer outra época da minha vida.
Acontece que nos anos 70 (os 60 ouvi-os "a posteriori", fui descobrindo aos poucos, já muito mais tarde) a música que se fazia era, regra geral, ou execrável ou simplesmente fora de série.
havia liberdade para gravar o que quer que fosse, em qualquer registo entre a imbecilidade pura e o sublime.
Além disso, a tecnologia encontrava-se numa fase de desenvolvimento muito especial. Uma melhoria imensa relativamente à década anterior, mas longe dos automatismos que começaram a fazer-se sentir sobretudo a partir dos anos 80.
Era um estímulo para a criatividade do músico em vez de um substituto. Mas tenho pouco tempo agora p/desenvolver este tópico.
Depois, as drogas eram outras, o que era também muito importante. Uma coisa é música induzida (ou sugerida) pelo LSD, outra completamente diferente a resultante da heroína (já bastante disseminada nos 70's, de resto... ex-Velvet Underground) ou de pastilhas estimulantes como a "ecstasy".
Curiosamente também no jazz e na folk, grande parte das obras-primas foram gravadas nos 70s!
Mas vou ter que sair agora. Penso que este tema poder dar uma "polémica" engraçada.
